Emily a graduate of the Baltimore International Culinary College with a degree in Culinary Arts and Professional Cooking is a renowned Professional Pastry Chef in Southern West Virginia.
She presently owns and operates her own home-based bakery business and works as an independent pastry chef and wedding consultant for the Tamarack in Beckley, WV and other local resorts. She has been selected as a Signature Chef for the American Red Cross benefit at Glade Springs Resort in Beaver, West Virginia.
Prior to moving to West Virginia and starting her business she worked as a Professional Chef in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area where she attained many accolades of an award winning Pastry Chef.
She is a five-time Gold Medal Winner in the ARC - Annual Chocolate Ball in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area for some of her desserts in the following categories: Homestyle Desserts, Specialty Cake and Plated Desserts.
In 1998 and 2001 she was chosen as one of Baltimore's top 100 Women Chefs and was voted to the Maryland Restaurants, Who's Who in Hospitality and Tourism for two consecutive years.
She has quest appearances on WBAL News Cooking Segments in Baltimore and was an instructor for Italian Cuisine and specialty desserts for Howard County Maryland - Recreation and Parks Association Cooking Classes Program.
